“Map” of Positions and Interests
The Symposium organizers will synthesize the views and positions presented into a “map” of interests and outcomes that will help policy makers and commentators understand areas of agreement and disagreement, and to define common ground.

Publication of Proceedings
Two distinct sets of symposium proceedings will be published. The first set, focused on policy, will be made available within weeks after the symposium concludes. This initial set of proceedings will include the “map” of interests and outcomes, policy-oriented materials prepared for presentation at the symposium, and notes on discussions held during the symposium.

The second set of proceedings will be an issue of the Chicago-Kent Law Review which will contain law review articles prepared by some symposium speakers analyzing specific legal aspects of final status, introduced with a shorter article providing the historical and political context within which the legal issues must be addressed.
